WOR 710 Radio - The Joan Hamburg Show—NEW YORK—January 7, 2008

Joan Hamburg talks with    Dr. Thomas P. Sculco,  Surgeon-in-Chief at Hospital for Special Surgery, about the latest advances in hip and knee replacement. Dr. Sculco performed the radio talk show host's hip replacement surgery at the end of December 2007 and she shares her personal story - two weeks post-operation.

This is a very informative discussion by Dr. Sculco about many issues involved in both knee and hip surgery.  He suggests questions to ask your surgeon, using a surgeon and hospital with much experience in the surgery you are considering and discusses the different new types of hip replacement.
